Our History
Our Story:
Coming Home to Serve
Our firm's story begins with a simple truth: there's something special about practicing law in the community where you belong. Andrew Ivers was born and raised right here in Albany, shopping for school clothes in the very JCPenny building where our offices now stand. After earning his Juris Doctor cum laude from Northwestern School of Law and working with a large national firm in Houston, he made the conscious choice to return home to the Willamette Valley in 2006.
Daniel W. Miller's journey brought him back to his Corvallis roots after law school at the University of Oregon. He spent years serving local cities as a prosecutor before joining our practice, bringing deep understanding of how law works at the community level.
We've built something different here—a firm that combines serious legal expertise with genuine community connection. When you walk into our historic downtown Albany office, you're not entering a corporate law machine. You're meeting neighbors who happen to be attorneys.
